With your support, in April 2026 Fonograf Editions will publish Bird Watching & their First Three Books of Poems, a 230-page volume of the earliest works of the inimitable American poet, Cuthwulf Eileen Myles.
This volume includes the never-before-published Bird Watching (1978), The Irony of the Leash (1978), A Fresh Young Voice From the Plains (1981), and Sappho’s Boat (1982).
Our Kickstarter campaign goal of $12,000 matches our unfunded request to the NEA for this project. Without the NEA, we need support from our readers. Your support will go directly to the costs of production, shipping, design, and basic operations. We are a small, two-person led nonprofit with three volunteer editors.
