Bunny Presse

An imprint of Fonograf Editions, BUNNY publishes queer writing out of bounds—fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and the uncategorizable.

Initially inspired by the work of the visual artist Ray Johnson, BUNNY was founded in 2022 by Jeff Alessandrelli and Adie B. Steckel. From 2022-2026 the press published a variety of different, slightly off-kilter works, in both poetry and prose, from a medley of writers, queer and straight. In May 2026 Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore became the Imprint Director of BUNNY, with Alessandrelli and Steckel becoming Editors at Large.
